Abstract
Higher education prepares students for their future roles and responsibilities so that the student becomes a valuable
resource for the nation’s economy. In this current study the role of higher education in economic development of Saudi
Arabia is examined through the viewpoint of female workforce individuals in colleges of Jazan University. How their
work prospects increments after gaining higher education. The study is based on primary and secondary data collection
method. Primary data is collected using questionnaire method and secondary data is collected through websites. A
survey questionnaire strategy is applied to conduct the interviews with female workforce individuals of different
colleges in Jazan University in order to gain their knowledge and perception towards professional growth in
educational development after they completed their higher education.
