Risk evaluation of geological hazard is the one of necessary works in engineering construction project, which plays an important role in legitimately avoiding the threaten from geological hazard. In this paper, we take a building construction project in weishan, yunnan province as research object. Primary items and methods have been introduced. By means of survey and analysis about the geologic environment, engineering geology, hydrological geology condition and mankind’s activity, the present and future risk of geological hazard has been evaluated. In the end, corresponding suggestive measures are put forward.
