Abstract
The paper will be an effort to study and analyze significant features in the elegies composed by selected poets of Gusau city, in the second half of twentieth century A.D., which will be divided into sub – headings, such as: brief history of the city, selected poets of elegy in the city, significant features in their elegies, conclusion and endnote.
