Abstract
The social status of women has always been a concern within society. Taoism has its own and different approach to women and their role, from the traditional Confucian patriarchal side. The concept, "Yin and Yang", refers to the status and value of women in society. Unfortunately, in today's society, issues surrounding women and their role in the community continue. Taoism seeks to convey ethical thoughts about women and their role in modern society, providing scholars and theorists a positive reference value for identifying the worth of today’s women and recognizing their contributions to the family unit and the community.
