Abstract
Schwannomas or neurilemmomas are the benign neoplasms that arise from Schwann cells of the peripheral nerve sheath. These are slow growing, well-encapsulated tumors and occur commonly in the head and neck region and on the extremities. Schwannoma arising in breast parenchyma is very rare as evidenced from review of literature. We report such a case in a 61 year old woman.
