Abstract
Aspergillus nidulans is one of the few species of Aspergillus with low pathogenicity. The significant infections of Aspergilllus nidulans in humans have rarely been reported. It has been reported in chronic granulomatous disease which is a defect of phagocytic cells leading to recurrent bacterial and fungal infections. Here we report a case of Aspergillus nidulans infection which is isolated from bronchoalveolar lavage in a patient with Macleod’s Syndrome. Macleod’s Syndrome is a rare lung disorder having unilateral hyperlucency of lung with hypo plastic pulmonary artery.
