Abstract
We report a case of a young moroccan male presenting with sequential, painless, bilateral visual loss. Diagnosis of Leber’s hereditary optic neuropathy had been retained based on clinical pattern. The course was rapidily marked by the bilateralisation and worsening of the visual function. The management was a real challenge. To our best knowledge it is the first case report of this devastating disease in morocco.
