This study focuses on importance of efficiency and equity in delivery of water supply service in NCC zone and Bankipore zone along with financial management by Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC). Besides, a comparative analysis has been documented for both zones with respect to accessing water supply service. Since efficiency and equity are two main indicators of urban governance and level of both indictors determine the intensity of urban governance enjoying by urban people for better city management. So, in this study an attempt has been made to determine the level of efficiency and equity and performance by urban local body in providing the services to the people residing in study area.
