Abstract
Hodgkin lymphoma is a lymphoproliferative malignancy. Originally described by Thomas Hodgkin in 1982. It has great potential for adding years of productive life by giving curative therapy as Hodgkin lymphoma are often cured. Overall, cure can be achieved in approximately 80% of patients with Hodgkin lymphoma. Etiology of Hodgkin lymphoma is unknown. There is however considerable evidence suggesting Epstein Barr - to play a role in etiopathogenesis of Hodgkin lymphoma. EBV genomes have been identified in Reed-Sternberg cells of Hodgkin lymphoma. To study its association with Epstein - Barr virus.
