Abstract
This article presents a clinical case study of a 32-year-old patient with brachial plexus trauma following a motorcycle accident, as well as a review of the relevant literature on surgical approaches to brachial plexus root repair. The case study highlights the patient's symptoms, initial assessments, further investigations, surgical management, and post-operative results. The literature review synthesizes the main surgical approaches used in the repair of brachial plexus injuries, highlighting direct root repair techniques, nerve grafts, nerve transfers, as well as their results and complications. This study contributes to the body of knowledge on surgical options for brachial plexus injuries, highlighting the importance of post-operative rehabilitation and long- term follow-up in improving patients' functional recovery.
