Abstract
Problem based learning (PBL) is results of a learning process of investigating, understanding and provide the solution of a problem. Problem based learning (PBL) is very effective for nursing school, where students were faced with the problem then is required to solve it. This research aims to know the influence of learning problem based learning strategies against the results of the study of the application of the concept in the basic nursing courses. The respondents in this study were 67 students in grade two of program diploma III nursing. The results showed that an increase in student learning outcomes. This is evident by the presence of the influence the learning problem based learning strategies against the results of the study of the application of the concept on the basis of nursing course.
