Abstract
Production of exopolysaccharide from Fomitopsis feei was screened under nine different production media. Common production medium was found to be good for the best production and after isolation, purification by DEAE cellulose column chromatography and the purified exopolysaccharide was characterized using H1, C13 NMR, FTIR, GC-MS analyses and found to be a proteopolysaccharide.
