Abstract
Systemic Lupus Erythematous is a multisystem autoimmune connective tissue disorder. Hematological manifestations of SLE are diverse and mostly are the presenting manifestations of the disease. Many SLE cases present with anemia, leucopenia and thrombocytopenia mainly in young females, diagnosed with high index of suspicion and after regular follow up. In the present article we have studied, prevalence of autoimmune hemolytic anemia in Systemic Lupus Erythematous patients and outcome, in teaching medical institute attached to tertiary referral centre.
