The ternary quadratic equation 8 �2 + �2 − 15�� = 56�2 representing a cone is analysed for its non-zero distinct integer points on it. Employing the integer solutions, a few interesting relations between the solutions and special polygonal numbers are presented. Also, knowing an integer solution, formulas for generating sequence of solutions are given.
