Abstract
Abstract: Organic vegetables are planted without the addition of any chemical addictions, pesticides, and genetic engineering products. It contains a lot of effort and energy, and the price of organic vegetables is much higher than that of ordinary vegetables. Chinese cabbages are consumed a lot in North China. By the pursue of profit, some people sell ordinary Chinese cabbages as organic Chinese vegetables, which severely harms the benefit of the consumers, and also causes bad effects in market order. It is meaningful to discriminate organic and ordinary Chinese cabbages with easy, convenient method. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) can do this job excellently. Comparing the detailed positions, intensities and the shapes in FT-IR spectra, the organic and ordinary Chinese cabbages is easy to discriminate.
