Methodology: A Prospective Cohort Study was carried out at Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Dhaka, Bangladesh from July 2014 to June 2015. This study evaluated the effects of ulnar styloid fractures on functional recovery and complication rates in 200 patients with distal radius fractures treated with volar locking plates. Adult patients presenting with distal radius fractures suitable for volar locking plate treatment, divided based on the presence or absence of ulnar styloid fractures.
