        Abstract
MHD flow of an electrically conducting, incompressible, viscous fluid past an impulsively moving isothermal
vertical plate through porous medium in the presence of uniform suction, radiation absorption and chemical reaction
taking in to an account in this analysis. A flow of this type represents a new class of boundary layer flow at a surface of
finite length. The heat transfer coefficient is found to vary significantly with heat flux and vapor quality, but only slightly
with saturation pressure and mass flux for the range of values investigated. The equations governing the flow field are
solved by analytical method. The velocity, temperature, concentration and skin friction have been evaluated for variation
in the different governing parameters.
