Abstract
Subtalar dislocation is a rare injury that usually results from high-energy trauma and is frequently associated with soft-tissue damage and osteochondral defects, which may compromise the long-term functional outcome. Computed tomography (CT) is recommended after reduction to detect associated osteochondral lesions that are easily missed on plain radiographs. We report an unusual case of medial subtalar dislocation secondary to a low-energy injury in a 34-year-old man, together with a review of the relevant literature.
