Abstract
A pineapple juice extraction machine was designed and fabricated using local available resources. It was powered by a 2 hp single phase electric motor. Test indicates that juice yield, extraction loss, and extraction efficiency were 75%, 4.8% and 71% respectively. This shows remarkable improvement of that reported by Olaniyan et al. The pineapple juice extraction Machine was able to produce 18lts/s.
