Abstract
The performance assessment of nano ferric oxide and mixtures of it (10 and 15 gr/lit) which contain mineral coagulants (5 and 10 mg/lit for evaluation of acidity of wastewater and 15 and 20 mg/lit for measuring of zeta potential) as auxiliary coagulants in pre-treatment of drilling waste water was considered, in this pilot scale experimental work. Major parameters in coagulation and flocculation such as initial and final pH, zeta potential and resident time were evaluated in two pre-treatment reactors.
