Abstract
Ptosis (or blepharoptosis) is the drooping of the upper eyelid below its normal position. It may infringe the vision of patients presenting this condition and; ptosis obscuring the visual axis is very amblogenic. It also involves big cosmetic, social, psychological issues; because those who bear this eye problem may be subject to scoffs.
