Abstract
The review article includes the clinical significance of Human herpesviruses, herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) and type 2 (HSV-2), varicella-zoster virus (VZV), cytomegalovirus (CMV), and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and other bacteria responsible for central nervous system (CNS) infections in humans. Clinical usage of the Molecular Diagnosis assays has been of immense significance in such diseases.
