Abstract
Globalization has become the buzz word that is changing the lives of people throughout the world and in order to survive in this competitive era, organizations are trying hard to work upon their strategies so that they can retain their market share. Expectations of consumers are increasing day by day for better quality of product at affordable prices which in turn causes a pressure on the organizations to ensure quality and profitability. Six Sigma techniques have been adopted by many organizations and applied to various departments for cutting down the cost incurred by reducing the waste generated in the processes and improving them. This paper focuses on one of the area that is acquisition of fresh talent which involves considerable amount of investment from organization point of view and gives the overview that how Six Sigma techniques can be used in improving the recruitment process which is crucial for organization point of view as it has become a great challenge for different organizations to select most talented employees in cost effective manner.
