Abstract
The paper investigates the impact of using accounting ratios as a tool for measuring performance using the time series analysis and annual data from 2009 to 2012. The Z-score model was used to determine the company’s financial health. The SPSS software package was used to verify the information collected for this study. The result implies that there exist a significant relationship between liquidity ratio and the profitability of the firm and also there exist a significant relationship between liquidity and profitability of a firm. Thus, the analyzing of organization data will help to reveal organization performance and also a proper regulation guiding financial performance should be introduced into the banking sector.
