Abstract
Enalapril is an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor. It is used in the treatment of hypertension and ischemic heart disease. Self poisoning with enalapril is very rare. We describe a case of attempted suicide by consumption of enalapril tablets. Patient recovered without any sequel.
