Abstract
Duplication of vermiform appendix is an extremely rare condition, with a reported incidence of 0.004%.
Abnormal development of the appendix usually takes the form of a double appendix. Accompanying intestinal, genitourinary or vertebral malformations may be present when appendiceal duplications are detected in childhood. We are
presenting a case of neonate having ARM with peritonitis which on exploration found to be a case of perforated pouch
