Abstract
The main objective of root end filling material is to achieve a good hermetic seal and to prevent the leakage of microbes and irrigants from the root canals. Various root end fillings have been discussed along with the recent advances and their biocompatibility, sealing ability, anti-bacterial effects and microleakage.
