Abstract
Dipylidium caninum is also called as cucumber tapeworm or the double pore tapeworm. The natural lifecycle of Dipylidiasis infection occurs in cats and dogs. Humans are occasionally infected and are rarely reported in literature. We could found only three cases from Indian literature and none of them were from northern part of India. We report a rare case of human dipyliadiasis in young child from Haryana.
