Abstract
The formation of college students' right consciousness and duty consciousness is the main motive force to promote the process of democracy and rule of law in our country. However, the current situation of college students' rights awareness and social responsibility is not optimistic. This paper aims at the investigation and research of college students' rights and obligations, the survey results show that contemporary college students have strong appeals for freedom and rights, and have obvious self-interest in the process of enjoying rights. However, the concept of assuming obligations and responsibilities has not been set up, and the ability to undertake responsibilities and obligations is relatively weak. The deviation of the concept of right and duty of college students not only brings pressure to the higher education, but also brings bad effects to the society. On the basis of the survey results, this paper analyzes the causes of this imbalance, and puts forward some reasonable suggestions from the aspects of higher education and college students' own requirements, in order to promote the coordinated development of the rights and obligations of contemporary college students.
